Ninja Guard GS6 Telescopic Goal Post positioned in front of road bridges to provide essential height warning for approaching vehicles. A simple, effective solution for preventing bridge strikes and protecting drivers.

How it Works in Front of a Bridge

When placed in front of a low bridge or other height-sensitive area, the GS6 goalpost system works as an advanced warning barrier:

  • Visual Warning: The high-visibility red and white poles and bunting alert drivers to check their vehicle height well before they reach the bridge .

  • Physical Barrier (Crossbar): While the bunting indicates a warning, an optional rigid crossbar provides a physical barrier that is non-damaging but will make contact if a vehicle is too tall, preventing it from hitting the actual bridge structure .

  • Compliance: The system is fully HSE GS6 compliant, meaning it meets UK safety guidelines for avoiding overhead dangers .

Where It Is Used

  • Roads approaching low bridges or tunnels

  • Construction site entrances with overhead gantries or scaffold

  • Car parks and shopping centres with height-restricted areas

  • Railway sites and highways

Key Safety Feature: Non-Conductive Material

A critical safety feature is that the poles are made from non-conductive fibreglass (GRP) . This is essential if the system is used near live overhead power lines because it will not conduct electricity, protecting workers and drivers.
